We enable international cooperation among states, private sector and civil society.
We strengthen capacities of law enforcement and criminal justice to prevent and counter cybercrime.
We sensitize children, parents, teachers, and government officials on the safe use of technology.
The UNODC Global Programme on Cybercrime is a multinational team of experts based around the world, dedicated to strengthening the capacities of States to prevent and combat cybercrime in all its forms.
Through a holistic approach based on four key pillars – legal frameworks, capacity-building, international cooperation, and prevention – the Programme supports Governments, law enforcement, prosecutors, judges, digital forensic experts, and civil society in addressing the evolving threats posed by cyber-enabled and cyber-dependent crimes to ensure a safer and more secure digital environment for all.
