UNODC research constitutes the key global authority in the fields of drugs and crime, providing the evidence that supports Member States and UNODC programs to effectively respond to current and future threats with impartial, transparent and quality knowledge on drug and crime levels and trends. UNODC assists countries to improve their knowledge on current and future crime and drug threats, including by providing guidelines, quality standards, internationally comparable methodologies, statistical measurement frameworks, as well as tools and services to support policy and programme development in the framework of UNODC mandates.
